Aloha! My name is Grace and I’m the Owner of Lōkahi Scrunchies. I live in Vancouver, Canada, work as a full-time flight attendant and in my spare time, enjoy blogging about my travel and food adventures.

Lōkahi was co-founded in June 2019 with the help of my dear friend and fellow flight attendant, Amanda. You may be wondering why two Canadian girls would base a business around Hawaii when neither reside in, are American or come from Hawaiian descent! Well, our friendship began several years ago while on a layover in Honolulu and we’ve been like sisters ever since. Naming the business Lōkahi was a tribute to our friendship but more importantly to the Hawaiian Islands, Culture and People that we love and have both grown to call our home away from home.

Lōkahi is a Hawaiian word which encompasses unity, harmony and balance. Lōkahi Scrunchies is a brand that strives to do our best in offering you one of a kind, stylish scrunchies, ethically handmade in Vancouver, Canada using sustainable/eco-friendly fabrics whenever possible.
